Hotels use a lot of water in rooms, kitchens, and laundry, and they store it in tanks that staff should not have to open during a shift. The failure guests notice is an empty tank. The failure the building notices is an overflow down the outside wall. Wireless water automation addresses both only when both halves are installed: the level manager and sensor for the reading, and the controller if the filling motor should be switched from the app.
Why hotels look at overflow and empty tanks together
An overflow wastes water and can damage a facade. An empty tank stops showers. The level manager steps say you should see the level in the app and get a notification when a level is reached. The controller steps say the app can turn the motor on and off, and that you should test automatic control as well as manual. The home page adds schedules and thresholds. That combination is how a hotel keeps a tank in a band without a person on the roof each hour. The site does not publish a guarantee of zero overflow. It publishes a test you can run: change the level, watch the app, and see the motor follow the command.
A long cable from a hotel roof to the basement pump room is disruptive in a finished building. The level path Water Gauge describes uses the mobile network from the solar level manager, so the roof needs sun and cellular signal. The sensor cable stays at the tank. The controller stays at the starter on an AC adapter, in a dry place. Housekeeping does not operate that hardware. Engineering does.
More than one tank
A hotel may have a fire reserve, a domestic overhead tank, and a raw tank. The home page says multiple devices can be monitored. It does not say every tank is included in one unit. Count them. Each tank that needs a reading needs a sensor and a level manager, unless a demo shows otherwise. Do not assume sharing. The website never describes one sensor covering two tanks.
Staff access is the other count. Front office may only need to know that water is available. Engineering may need to switch the motor. The app, as written, shows the level and can control the pump. Roles and permissions are not described. Ask if a view-only login exists. If the answer is no, plan around the phones that are allowed to hold the app.
What the starter conversation should include
Hotel motors are not all submersible borewell motors, but some properties fill from a borewell. The controller page's relay notes apply to a submersible starter. Other starters follow the manufacturer's instructions and a compatibility check. The hotel's electrician should be on that call. Read hotel overflow control and the pump controller page. Societies have a similar shared-tank problem with a different kind of user.
Solar refers to the level manager only. The pump remains on the hotel's electrical supply. Do not plan to run a large filling motor from the monitoring panel. Wattage of that panel is not published.
Ask for an estimate
No hotel package price is on the site. Call +91 70004 65454, email support@watergauge.in, or use the free estimate page. The office is in Indore: 1st Floor, above PNB, near Pipliyahana Road, Scheme No 140, Madhya Pradesh 452016. Other cities are not listed. See how it works and the FAQ. Synetal Solutions Pvt Ltd is named on the home page. The Android app is com.waterguage.water_guage. No guest-facing app and no iPhone app are described.
A handover engineering can repeat
After installation, engineering should be able to repeat three checks without the installer: the app shows the domestic tank, a notification arrives at the level you chose, and the filling motor stops when the app or automatic control says so. If a second tank was in the quote, repeat the level check there. Write the staff names who may switch the motor and keep the app off phones that should not. Do not hand the pump to the front desk unless you have confirmed a view-only option, which the site does not describe. Leave the overflow pipe working. Tell the general manager the system is Android-only unless support has said otherwise. For the estimate, send tank count, starter type, and the hotel city to +91 70004 65454. Indore is the published office. A visit elsewhere is a reply, not a page.
