In an apartment building the overhead tank serves many flats. The motor may be in a pump room residents never enter. The person who knows the level is often a watchman, and the person who hears the complaint is the secretary. Wireless water automation does not change who owns the tank. It puts the same reading on the Android app, and it puts the on and off command on the controller at the starter instead of only on a wall switch.
Why the cable run is the expensive part
Society roofs are high. A wired indicator needs a cable from the tank down to the pump room, through shafts that already hold other services. Water Gauge avoids that long cable. The level manager stays at the tank, powered by its solar panel, with the SIM already fitted, provided there is mobile signal. The sensor is mounted in the tank and cabled only as far as the level manager. The controller stays in the pump room on an AC adapter. Residents do not need to understand that split. The committee does, because the quote is for two places, not one gadget.
The home page says the app can monitor more than one device. A society with a raw-water tank and an overhead tank may need more than one sensor and level manager. The site does not say that two tanks are included in one price, because no price is published at all. Count the tanks in the enquiry.
Alerts instead of a shout from the terrace
The level manager test says the app should notify you when certain levels are reached. For a society, that notification is how a full tank is caught before water pours down the outlet and how a low tank is caught before the top floors go dry. The site does not name the notification text or say it reaches every flat. Assume the phones that have the app receive it, and ask on a demo how access is given to a watchman and a secretary. Do not assume every resident gets a login. That workflow is not written on the site.
Schedules are listed on the home page. A society that fills at a set time can ask to see scheduling in the app. Thresholds for automatic on and off are also listed. Automatic still depends on the controller being connected to the starter in the way the controller page describes: relay connections for a submersible starter, or the starter maker's instructions otherwise. A society electrician should be in that conversation. Water Gauge does not publish a statement that existing pump panels can be left untouched.
What the committee should write down
Number of tanks. Whether each tank has sun and mobile signal. Where the starters are, and whether they are relay starters for submersible motors. Who is allowed to turn a motor on. Who must only see the level. Those answers change the quote more than a slogan about smart societies. Read the society guide and overflow. Compare with a single house if the building is a small row of flats rather than a tower.
Solar is only the level manager. Do not expect the pump itself to run from that panel. The pump still uses its existing electrical supply. The controller only needs the AC adapter described on its page, in a dry place.
How to ask
Call +91 70004 65454 or use the form. Email support@watergauge.in. The published office is in Indore, Scheme No 140, above PNB, near Pipliyahana Road, Madhya Pradesh 452016. There is no published price and no published list of cities. A free estimate is the right next step. The FAQ covers the product questions that are already answered on the site. How it works is the device order in one page.
The company named on the home page is Synetal Solutions Pvt Ltd. The Android app package is com.waterguage.water_guage. This page does not include society testimonials, star ratings, or a claim about how many buildings are installed. Those figures are not on the website.
What a society should test before paying the balance
Pick one filling. Engineering and the watchman both look at the app, if both phones are supposed to have it. Confirm the level moves as the tank fills. Confirm a notification at the agreed level. Confirm the motor stops from the app and, separately, from automatic control. Write down whose phone could start the motor. If a second tank exists, repeat the level check on that device rather than assuming the first sensor covers it. This test is assembled from the product pages. It does not add a society certificate. If the roof has no mobile signal, stop and say so. The level manager cannot send a reading the network will not carry. The shaft cable you hoped to avoid would be a different product, described in the wireless versus wired guide, not a hidden mode of this one.
