Farm water is usually a borewell, a submersible motor, a starter in a shed, and a tank that may be an overhead tank, a ground tank, or a reservoir. The distance between the tank and the starter is why a wireless system is discussed at all. Water Gauge does not run a cable across that distance for the level. The level manager stays at the tank with a solar panel and a SIM that is already fitted. The controller stays at the starter. The Android app shows the level and can switch the motor.
What the controller page actually says about the motor
The controller steps talk about a submersible motor's starter. For a relay-based system they describe relay connections to that starter. For other starters they say to follow the manufacturer's instructions and check compatibility. A borewell motor is commonly submersible, so the relay case is the one to read first. It is not a promise that every borewell panel can take the connection without the electrician who already maintains that panel. The borewell guide stays inside those sentences.
Dry running is the fear on a farm: the motor keeps going when the bore or the tank has no water. Water Gauge does not describe a separate dry-run probe inside the borewell. What it describes is a sensor in the tank or reservoir, a level on the app, and a controller that can turn the motor off. If your risk is the bore going dry rather than the tank, say that on the call. The published sensor location is the tank or reservoir, not a depth sensor down the bore. This page will not invent a bore-depth feature.
Why solar is mentioned for farms
A tank in a field often has no mains socket. The level manager is the solar device. Install notes require direct sun, a sensor cable to the tank, and cellular signal. A farm on the edge of coverage can fail the signal test even when the sun is fine. Check signal at the tank before you plan around the app. The controller still needs its AC adapter at the starter, where the motor already has electricity. Solar water level monitoring and motor power are different. See solar monitoring if you only want the reading.
The sensor is described as waterproof and suitable for immersion, mounted clear of obstructions. An open farm reservoir and a closed overhead tank are both mentioned in the general language of tanks, reservoirs, and storage. The site does not publish a maximum tank size or a dirty-water rating. If the water is silty, ask before you assume the sensor page covers it.
Using the app away from the field
The app page says you can operate the controller from anywhere and turn the pump on or off based on the level. For a farmer who is not standing next to the shed, that is the point of an automatic water pump controller. Schedules are listed on the home page. Alerts when a level is reached are part of the level manager test. None of those sentences include a radio range in metres, because the level path described is the mobile network, not a private radio whose distance we could print.
More than one device can be monitored. A farm with two tanks should count them in the enquiry. There is no published price per tank.
How to ask for a farm quote
Say: submersible or not, relay starter or not, one tank or more, sun and mobile signal at the tank, and whether you need the motor switched or only the level. Call +91 70004 65454, email support@watergauge.in, or use the free estimate form. The office on the site is in Indore, Scheme No 140, above PNB, near Pipliyahana Road, Madhya Pradesh 452016. Cities served beyond that address are not published. Do not treat this page as a claim that installation crews cover every district.

One farm visit, two locations
Do the shed first if the electrician is there: dry mounting, AC adapter, starter type, relay connection only if that is what the panel is. Then go to the tank: sensor clear of the inlet splash if that would block it, panel in direct sun, phone signal checked on the spot. Open the app. Run the motor briefly from the phone and stop it. Watch the tank level change, or agree how you will see that change if the tank is large and slow. Confirm a notification. If the bore itself is what runs dry, say that before this visit, because the published sensor is in the tank or reservoir. Leaving with a working tank reading and a working starter command is the success the pages describe. Leaving with a guessed bore depth on the phone is not, because that reading is not in the product text. Put the farm's village and the starter type in the WhatsApp message so the reply can say whether a visit is possible.
